Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch sells Skittles in home shopping network promo

In a home shopping network promo that could easily pass for a "Saturday Night Live" parody of Marshawn Lynch's love of Skittles, the Seattle Seahawks running back hawked his favorite candy Tuesday morning in a highly entertaining appearance on Evine Live.

Lynch might abhor speaking to the media, but he was downright charming while singing the praises of Skittles with host Allison Waggoner, who welcomed Lynch to the set by saying, "How you doing big daddy?"

Waggoner then asked Lynch — who said, "You couldn't talk about Skittles without talking to the kid!" — to describe his relationship with the fruity candy.

"We intimate," he said. "We done became one."

Lynch said he wouldn't stay at a party that didn't have Skittles and he wouldn't date a girl who didn't like them.

"She's sour," he said. "She's not sweet enough."

Waggoner and Lynch were selling a case (36 bags) of the candy for $14.86.

"You care if I hand (a case) off to you?" Waggoner said to Lynch. "Is there a special way?"

Lynch: "You just gotta slide it right on in. Right in my bread basket. I'm gonna tuck that thang, secure it and make sure it's all right. You see, it sits right here on my stomach because that's where most of them go."

The infomercial also features a model wearing a Skittles necklace and Waggoner presents Lynch with a Skittles pinky ring as well that he kisses before putting it on.

"Y'all need to taste the rainbow," Lynch said.
