Shooter McGavin took a selfie with Tiger Woods at the US Open

A virtual recluse since losing the Tour Championship to Happy Gilmore in 1996, Shooter McGavin recently came out of hiding at the U.S. Open, where he took an epic selfie with fellow golf legend Tiger Woods.

Christopher McDonald, the actor who portrayed the arrogant McGavin in the Adam Sandler movie, "Happy Gilmore," tweeted a photo of himself with Woods to his 1,389 followers Friday, posting, "look who's rooting for Serena!! The MAN!!"

However, the photo went viral when Shooter McGavin's parody account tweeted it to its 277,000 followers Tuesday, posting, "Two golf legends catching up with each other at the U.S. Open the other day."

No word if Shooter gave Tiger the double pistols or told him he eats pieces of (expletive) like him for breakfast or if they went to the Sizzler afterward to get some grub.

Check out the selfie below.
