Race 2 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $80,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

2 Sushi Empire - Gets class relief from a minor stakes for this; love betting Corey Nakatani on the grass.

5 Pillow - Euro import makes her U.S. debut under Rafael Bejarano; Simon Callaghan has had success with these.

Long Shot - 1 Loan Savant

Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 3-year-olds

4 Front Range - FTS from Bob Baffert; this one gets Gary Stevens in debut, watch the tote board for clues.

3 Zensational Beauty - Could easily be a Bob Baffert exacta box; speedball has only one way of going.

Long Shot - 1 Indian Safari

Race 4 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $16,000, Claiming $12,500, 4-year-olds and up

3 Tribal Smoke - Agapito Delgadillo rarely gets bet, but is more than competent; Jeff Mullins adding blinkers on.

1 Clubhouse Rock - Taking a huge class drop to face much easier; switch back to dirt where he broke his maiden.

Long Shot - 5 Quick Cielo

Race 5 - 1 1/8th miles (tyurf, rail at 8 feet), $40,000 March Madness; Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

1 Miss Well Molded - Claimed by Paul Aguirre, who uses Joe Talamo and not Iggy Puglisi; has a solid turf resume.

5 Highly Rated - First out of the claim by Mike Machowsky; like that Rafael Bejarano remains loyal to the cause.

Long Shot - 6 Mom Nana Petrie

Race 6 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up

4 Magic Mark - Ron Ellis could not be having a better meeting; every horse he sends out is live, live, live.

10 I Don’t Care Who - Has won two straight races off the claim by Jeff Mullins; like how he uses Tyler Baze first call.

Long Shot - 7 Got Even

Race 7 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 8 feet), $75,000 American Beauty, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

1 Moone’s My Name - Didn’t get much of a trip in last; offers good value, but can do better than in the Buena Vista.

6 Fanticola - Tepid chalk in another wide open affair; has run well over Santa Anita sod and at today’s mile distance.

Long Shot - 5 Bee Brave

Race 8 - 1 1/2 miles, $100,000 Tokyo City Cup, 4-year-olds and up

6 Blueskiesnrainbows - Class relief from four graded stakes races for this; has developed nicely for Jerry Hollendorfer.

1 Tiz Dynamic - Has won 2-of-3 lately, but over much weaker foes; can get a perfect trip from the rail under Rafael Bejarano.

Long Shot - 4 Segway

Race 9 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $56,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

9 Seraphic Slew - Ran a much improved race when switched to the turf in last; won’t be 35/1 odds like last time.

12 Van Dien Avenue - Getting long in the tooth, but runs fast enough to compete; will get a hungy Jose Valdivia, Jr. today.
