Many fans in attendance for TCU homecoming

FORT WORTH, Texas — If traffic around Amon Carter Stadium is any indication, expect a healthy crowd at Amon Carter Stadium for today's UNLV-Texas Christian football game.
But with less than 10 minutes before kickoff, most fans are still in the parking lots or making their way into the stadium. It is homecoming at TCU, and fans around the stadium were in a festive mood.
They also were in a hopeful mood. The No. 8 Horned Frogs (7-0, 3-0 Mountain West Conference) are favored by 35 points over UNLV (3-5, 1-3), believed to be the largest point spread for a Rebels game since Nevada sports books began taking bets on state teams.
SUCCESS ON THE ROAD
UNLV is only 5-25 against ranked teams, but four of those victories were on the road. The most recent ranked team the Rebels defeated was Arizona State last season.
HALLOWEEN SPECIAL
The Rebels are 3-3 on Halloween, but have not played on this holiday since losing 20-16 to Tulsa in 1998
NO NEWS
There are no announced UNLV lineup changes. Tight end Kyle Watkins (ankle) didn't make the trip, but that wasn't unexpected
