8 Rebels earn all-league honors in track and field
Auzsane Crowe-Carter led a pack of eight UNLV track and field athletes who earned All-Mountain West honors. The senior earned all-conference honors in both the 800-meter run and 4x400-meter relay.
Crowe-Carter placed second in the 800 at the recent MW Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a personal-best MW Outdoor time of 2 minutes, 7 seconds. She also joined forces with Rebels teammates Mandy Chitwood, Micayla Coquia and Joneice Ervin to take third in the 1600-meter relay with a time of 3 minutes, 42.43 seconds.
Other UNLV athletes who earned All-MW honors are Destiny Smith-Barnett (100m), Drea Austin (100m), Ayana Gales (long jump) and Cortney Miller (hammer).
