The winning throw was a record at Sacramento State’s Hornet Stadium.

UNLV senior Erin Morris advanced Friday to today’s quarterfinals of the 100-meter hurdles in the NCAA preliminary championships at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
A.J. Hernandez has gone from delivering key pinch hits to producing as a full-time player. Now he will help lead UNLV into the regional that begins today against UC Irvine.
