In teh photos above, Sophomore Evan McDowell of Air Force clears the pole vault bar and freshman Karsen Sper of San Diego State lands in the long jump pit Thursday during the decathlon and heptathlon competitions in the Mountain West Track and Field Championships at UNLV. Senior Josh McMillin of Colorado State won the men’s decathlon. Junior Allison Reaser of San Diego State won the women’s heptathlon, and sophomore Juliet Summers was UNLV’s top finisher in 12th place. The championships continue at 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday at Myron Partridge Track Stadium on campus.
