Three Rebels named to MW all-conference men’s golf squad
Three UNLV golfers were names to the 10-man all-Mountain West team announced Thursday.
Kurt Kitayama, a junior from Chico, Calif., led the Rebels in scoring with a 72.18 average. Other Rebels honored were Carl Jonson, a junior from Bainbridge Island, Wash., and sophomore Zane Thomas, a sophomore from Las Vegas.
New Mexico’s Gavin Green was named the conference’s golfer of the year. San Diego State’s Ricky DeSantis was freshman of the year. New Mexico’s Glen Millican was coach of the year.
