UNR surges late to wrap up baseball sweep over Rebels

Bryce Greager went 2-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs to help UNR complete a three-game series sweep over UNLV with a 7-4 victory Saturday in a Mountain West baseball game at Wilson Stadium.
Justin Bridgman went 2-for-3 and scored twice, and Justin Hazard also had two hits for the Wolf Pack (10-12, 4-4), who overcame a 3-1 deficit after six innings with four runs in the seventh and two in the eighth.
Payton Squier had a double — the lone extra-base hit for the Rebels — and scored twice as UNLV (8-14, 3-6) was outhit 11-10 and lost its sixth straight.
Kyle Isbel and Justin Jones each had an RBI single for the Rebels, who committed three errors that led to four unearned runs.
UNR starter Trenton Brooks gave up two earned runs on seven hits and three walks and struck out five in six innings.
Rebels starter Kenny Oakley gave up three earned runs on seven hits and six walks and struck out three in 6 2/3 innings.
