Career highlights:
■ Ranks No. 2 on the all-time scoring list with 2,073 points and No. 1 in rebounds with 1,276.
■ Averaged career highs of 22.1 points and 11.9 rebounds in 1982-83, when the Rebels went 28-3.
■ The 6-foot-9-inch forward/center was the team's leading rebounder four consecutive years.

Currently: Player development assistant last season for the Chicago Bulls, who drafted him fifth overall in 1983. Played 10 years in the NBA. Head coach at three colleges and led Florida Atlantic to 2002 NCAA Tournament. First UNLV player to have his jersey (No. 21) retired in 1994. His son, Taurean, won NCAA titles with Florida in 2006 and 2007.
