UNLV-Wichita State game to be carried on Cox (96)

UNLV basketball fans who have access to Cox Cable will be able to watch the 18th-ranked Rebels' game against Wichita State on Sunday.

The 1 p.m. game will be carried on Cox Channel 96, Cox Communications and the school jointly announced Thursday.

Cox will pick up the feed of the local broadcast in Kansas, meaning fans will get the call of Wichita State's announcers. The game also will be broadcast locally on ESPN Radio (1100 AM, 98.9 FM).

UNLV (8-0) is coming off a 94-88 double-overtime win at UC Santa Barbara on Wednesday. Wichita State beat Cal State-Fullerton 75-60 on Thursday to improve to 4-2.

"We appreciate the efforts of all of those who are making it possible for our fans to see Sunday's game in the Las Vegas market," first-year Rebels coach Dave Rice said. "The city is excited about our program, and we want to do everything we can to provide access to our fans to support their Runnin' Rebels."
