The IndyCar series has signed a new media rights deal with NBC Sports Group. The new deal is expected to dramatically increase exposure. Las Vegas native and former Indy 500 pit road reporter Jamie Little said it was a great move for the series. “Having been part of the IndyCar family, I’m thrilled to see the series land one big TV deal.”
Celebrity chef Mario Batali has been accused of sexual misconduct by at least four women. Three of the women worked for Batali. ABC has asked Batali to “step away” from his cooking show, “The Chew,” while the allegations are under review. Batali, 57, told The Associated Press that the complaints “match up” with his past behavior.
