The Las Vegas stadium that will be the home of the Raiders in 2020 had its topping ceremony Monday where the highest beam was attached to the roof trusses after being signedby dignitaries and politicians. At the ceremony the Raiders revealed that the name of the stadium will be Allegiant Stadium and their new partnership with Allegiant Airlines. Allegiant Air’s top executives had big drops in compensation last year amid lower profits. Chairman and CEO Maurice “Maury” Gallagher received about $2.3 million in total compensation, down 35 percent from 2016. Allegiant President John Redmond received around $1.86 million, down 82 percent, and Scott Sheldon, chief operating and financial officer, received $1.9 million, down 37 percent. Allegiant’s profits fell 11 percent last year, and executives’ compensation dropped even further due to smaller bonuses and stock awards.
