Former lightweight and featherweight UFC champion Conor McGregor and current lightweight titleholder Khabib Nurmagomedov faced off at a press conference in New York City on Sept. 20 to promote their upcoming title fight at UFC 229 in Las Vegas on Oct. 6.
During a UFC media day on Tuesday, UFC lightweight Kevin Lee called Conor McGregor a ‘cokehead’. He also said that McGregor is trying to be a “gangster” and a “thug”, which Lee says is a dangerous game to play.

UFC star Conor McGregor was in court on Friday and charged with three misdemeanors and a felony. McGregor, 29, showed up after media day for Saturday’s UFC 223 event with an entourage intent on confronting Khabib Nurmagomedov. McGregor hurled a dolly through a window and injured at least two of the athletes who had been scheduled to fight. Lightweight Michael Chiesa suffered facial lacerations and deemed unable to compete in his bout against Anthony Pettis.
