Bill Cosby Found Guilty on All Charges The 80-year-old actor has been convicted on three counts of aggravated indecent assault, all of which have a penalty of 10 years in prison. In 2004, Cosby drugged and raped Andrea Constand, a Temple University employee, when she went to him for career advice. Despite only being convicted for Constand’s case, multiple other women have accused Cosby of sexual misconduct. The verdict was delivered by the jury on Thursday after more than 14 hours of deliberation. This was the second trial for Constrand’s case against Cosby after the first trial ended in a mistrial when the jury could not come to a conclusion.
UFC star Conor McGregor was in court on Friday and charged with three misdemeanors and a felony. McGregor, 29, showed up after media day for Saturday’s UFC 223 event with an entourage intent on confronting Khabib Nurmagomedov. McGregor hurled a dolly through a window and injured at least two of the athletes who had been scheduled to fight. Lightweight Michael Chiesa suffered facial lacerations and deemed unable to compete in his bout against Anthony Pettis.
NBA G League Player Zeke Upshaw Dies After Collapsing on Court Upshaw collapsed on the court near the end of Saturday’s game pitting the Grand Rapids Drive against the Long Island Nets and was taken off the court on a stretcher. Zeke Upshaw’s mother Zeke Upshaw’s mother Upshaw, 26, was a standout player from Chicago before attending Illinois State and later transferring to Hofstra. He played for two seasons overseas before he was drafted by the Drive in the 2016 draft. The Drive family is mourning the tragic loss of Zeke Upshaw. He had a warm personality and was a tremendous representative of our organization both on and off the court. Our thoughts are with all of Zeke’s family and friends during this difficult time.
Bryan Clay was sentenced to life in prison without parole in December for the rape and murder of a mother and her 10-year-old daughter. On Thursday, he was in court again to be sentenced for other charges, including robbery, kidnapping and sexual assault of a minor under 14 . Binh “Ben” Chung, a Las Vegas doctor who drugged and raped patients, was ordered Monday to serve 50 years to life behind bars but not before some of his victims addressed the court.

1. A Las Vegas doctor convicted of murder in the 2007 Hepatitis C outbreak has died in prison. Dipak Desai was serving life in prison with the possibility of parole on 27 counts, including second-degree murder. Desai’s lawyer Richard Wright argued that Desai was unfit to stand trial after suffering multiple strokes. The Washoe County coroner’s office is expected to determine Desai’s cause of death.
2. A 9-vehicle crash has closed down southbound traffic on I-15 near Moapa. Clark County Fire Department says five semitrailers and four passenger cars were involved in the wreck at about 2:50 a.m. No injuries were reported but lanes were still closed as of 7:30 a.m.
3. MGM Resorts valets fear for a decrease in income after an announcement that parking rates will rise again. One valet that spoke to the Las Vegas Review-Journal said his income decreased by $20,000 a year due to parking rates rising, and another said he had to take a second job to pay his bills. Parking rates at MGM Resorts will increase by up to $25 starting Wednesday.
