President Trump Acknowledges Stormy Daniels Payment,
Denies Affair Trump took to Twitter on Thursday to acknowledge the payment of $130,000 that was made to Daniels. The president’s comments come after his attorney, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, confirmed that Trump has since repaid the money to Cohen, his personal attorney. Daniels, who claims to have had an affair with Trump in 2006, is currently suing him for defamation.
Trump Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize Eighteen House members sent a letter to the Nobel Committee in Norway, recommending President Donald Trump for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize. The letter was signed by Rep. Luke Messer and other GOP members, according to the New York Post. Trump Slams Amazon for Not Paying Enough in Taxes Trump tweeted his concerns about the company on Thursday. This isn’t the first time Trump commented on the issues via Twitter. August 2017 December 2017 Amazon did hold back on paying state taxes in 1995, but the company has been routinely collecting state sales taxes since then. In 2016, the company’s report from the Securities and Exchange Commission confirmed it paid $412 million in taxes.

Russia: Trump Invited Putin to Visit White House The White House confirmed that President Trump has discussed meeting with Vladimir Putin in the near future. The Kremlin’s foreign policy adviser, Yuri Ushakov, said the two men spoke on March 20 and Trump proposed a meeting. The phone call came before last week’s diplomatic explusions following the nerve attack on Russian double agent Sergei Skripal.

The good parts of Trump’s speech — and there were many — were great. He highlighted the roaring economy, talked about how tax reform is putting more money in your pocket and detailed why America is a great country. It’s also nice to, once again, have a president who’s more eager to brag about America’s strengths than to apologize for them.
For years, Democrats have sought permanent protections for illegal aliens who came to the United States as children. Trump’s plan offers that and not just for the 690,000 who signed up
for DACA. He’s offering legal status and a path to citizenship for 1.8 million illegal
immigrations who came to the U.S. as children.
