A man died Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash in northeast Las Vegas.
The crash occurred Tuesday morning on the 1900 block of Pasadena Boulevard, near Lake Mead Boulevard and Mt. Hood Street. Police had few details, but Metro’s fatal detail was on the scene investigating.
One person was killed Monday morning in a three-vehicle collision that left one car wrapped around a pole in the central valley. One person is dead after an early Wednesday morning crash in the northwest valley.
The single-vehicle crash was called in about 1:35 a.m. on Jones Boulevard just north of Deer Springs Way, according to Metropolitan Police Department Sgt. Robert Stauffer. The driver, who was the only person inside the vehicle, died at the scene.
Two people were killed in a car crash Sunday afternoon in the western valley. Two cars collided about 4:45 p.m. on Rainbow Boulevard, just south of Westcliff Drive. A white Chrysler struck a black Toyota as it was turning left into a shopping center, Las Vegas police said. The Chrysler jumped a curb and struck the corner of the Silver State Schools Credit Union office. The Toyota flipped and the driver and the passenger, who was ejected from the car, died at the scene. The driver of the Chrysler suffered minor injuries and police said he was not impaired. It’s unclear if he will face charges.
A 31-year-old man died Wednesday night after crashing into the back of a double-decker Regional Transportation Commission bus on Flamingo Road near U.S. 95. None of the 11 people on the RTC bus were injured. The Nevada Highway Patrol said the driver of the sedan was believed to be impaired. The driver of the sedan was not wearing his seat belt, NHP spokesman Jason Buratczuk said, but he was sitting on his seat belt, which was buckled. The man’s death marks the fifth fatal crash NHP has investigated this year. In 2016 there were 60 fatal crashes on Nevada highways involving people who were not wearing seat belts, Buratczuk said.
A Ford SUV crashed on the northbound I-15 near D Street in Las Vegas. One child was killed and another is in critical condition at a local hospital.
