Grocery shopping in Las Vegas is not what it used to be even just a few weeks ago. The coronavirus pandemic has left shoppers overbuying and hoarding basic necessities, leaving others without any supplies.
Shelves are being left empty at grocery stores due to people overbuying products. Clark County Commission Chairman Marilyn Kirkpatrick and Vegas Chamber President/CEO Mary Beth Sewald insure that their will be food on the shelves and urge the public to stop panic buying.
The new 125,000-square-foot Smith’s Marketplace on Skye Canyon Road prepares for it’s grand opening. The new store will feature not only groceries but a bakery, pharmacy, wine and beer bar, gas station, apparel, housewares and more.
