Arizona’s University of Phoenix Stadium will host Super Bowl LVII in 2023, its fourth time hosting. Michael Bidwell, Arizona Cardinals president New Orleans’ Mercedes-Benz Superdome will host Super Bowl LVIII in 2024, the city’s eleventh time hosting the event. Las Vegas racer Noah Gragson predicted he was in for a “rude awakening” in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut. Instead, he finished second at Richmond Raceway in Virginia. Gragson normally drives for fellow Las Vegan Kyle Busch in the NASCAR Truck Series. The race at Richmond was one of three in which he will compete for former Super Bowl coach Joe Gibbs. The second one is this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama, a restrictor-plate track at which Gragson has little experience. “Talladega, that one might come back in a ball or something. Man, I’m not too good of a restrictor-plate racer just because I don’t have a lot of experience.”
Michael Bennett to Turn Himself in on Monday The Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman will turn himself in to authorities on Monday afternoon. Bennett allegedly assaulted a 66-year-old paraplegic woman who was working security at
Super Bowl LI. He will surrender at 1 p.m. CT at the Harris County District Court in Houston, according to his attorney Rusty Hardin. He faces up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Super Bowl LII Ratings Hit Eight-Year Low According to The Programming Insider, Sunday’s big game scored a 47.4 in overnight household ratings, which is down three percent from last year. The game was up nine percent in metered market results from Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005. But is the lowest rated Super Bowl since XLIV back in 2010. This year’s Bowl ranks No. 9 overall and No. 3 out of those hosted by NBC.

Las Vegas and its $1.9 billion stadium project won’t be forgotten when nine NFL owners and team presidents, together wielding influence over an adjusted Super Bowl bid-selection process, meet in the coming months. Raiders owner Mark Davis serves on the Super Bowl and Major Events Advisory Committee, positioning him to have an active role in where Super Bowl LVII will be located on Feb. 5, 2023. Las Vegas, upon hosting the game, would be the latest NFL city to which league owners have awarded a Super Bowl following a stadium construction. There is no guarantee the game is coming to Las Vegas then. A combination of recent history and comments from an NFL executive, however, indicate the opportunity should arrive in the next eight years.
