Ahead of UNLV football hosting #16 Boise State at Sam Boyd Stadium, the men and women’s basketball squads made its debut to the public in the Scarlet & Gray Showcase. The men and women teamed up with fans from the crowd to play different contests on the court to get fans excited for the upcoming season.
Former UNLV women’s basketball coach Jim Bolla underwent heart surgery and is currently battling with cancer as his daughter, Sasha, prepares to embark on a journey as a collegiate athlete. His family details his fight and what they’ve been through since finding out.
