Bishop Gorman’s Isaiah Cottrell, a 6-foot-9-inch sophomore, is the latest elite prospect to man the middle for the top-ranked Gaels. Here are five fun facts about Cottrell. 1. He wears a size 18 shoe. 2. He is the 30th ranked player in the sophomore class. 3. Prolific programs like Arizona, Oklahoma, Washington and Illinois are four of Cottrell’s 19 reported scholarship offers. 4. He got his first scholarship offer from UNLV as an eighth-grader. 5. He plays in the Vegas Elite AAU Program, which finished last summer with the fourth-ranked 2020 team.

After their loss to the Nevada Wolf Pack which cost them bowl eligibility, UNLV football head coach Tony Sanchez says the Rebels have to analyze the mistakes they made this season and improve upon them next season.
UNLV football players have walked by an empty spot in their campus locker room. The Rebels tried to fill that space Saturday with the Fremont Cannon. UNLV lost to the Wolf pack 23-16 despite having the lead during the second quarter. The loss made sure UNLV no longer has a chance at a bowl game.
