Downtown Las Vegas casinos reopened to the public at 12:01 a.m. Thursday. Just before that, the Viva Vision screen at the Fremont Street Experience
popped off with digital fireworks for the crowd below. For a moment, it felt as if Las Vegas had never shut down.
Outside of the Fremont Street Experience Viva Vision canopy, Allegiant Stadium’s video screen will be the largest sign in the valley, approximately 27,600 square feet in area.
The $32 million renovations of the Fremont Street Experience’s Viva Vision canopy have officially wrapped up and are set to debut on New Year’s Eve during the “America’s Party Downtown” event. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
