Green Valley comes back to beat Liberty

Green Valley overcame a three-inning deficit to score a 7-6 win over Liberty on Friday afternoon. Gators senior Garrett Nelson pitched four scoreless innings of relief and scored the game-tying run. Green Valley trailed for most of the game after surrendering five runs in the second inning. Nelson loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh inning, but escaped the jam by inducing a groundout.
