A cable company employee’s knock on the wrong east valley apartment door Saturday led to a homicide investigation. Malcolm Aubry, 22, answered the door and told the employee to call police. Aubry told police he punched his girlfriend because he was scared. Officers found Debra Pauline McCollum’s body on a bed in the apartment. Aubry now faces a murder charge and is being held in county jail without bail.
