UNLV’s Marvin Menzies linked to Louisville job

A highly speculative story linked UNLV’s Marvin Menzies to the potential opening at Louisville, but the chances of him leaving for the Cardinals are remote. Louisville’s Rick Pitino was placed on leave in the wake of an FBI investigation into recruiting practices. Pitino’s attorney said he was “effectively fired.” Midmajormadness.com mentioned Menzies as a possible candidate for the job. The site did not say Louisville is interested in Menzies or if he would consider leaving UNLV to take over the Cardinals. Menzies was an assistant under Pitino from 2005 to 2007. He is heading into his 2nd season at UNLV.
