Our top 5 picks for what to see and do Saturday at Life is Beautiful — VIDEO

The Life Is Beautiful festival starts up again at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Feel like you missed out on something yesterday? Make up for it today. There will be plenty to see, do, eat, and listen to.

What to watch

The South African “rave rap” trio Die Antwoord will take the Ambassador Stage at 9 p.m. Saturday night. Some of the songs we expect to hear during their set include, “U Like Boobies?” and “Wings on my Penis.” So there’s a good chance it will be entertaining.

If you’d rather listen to something a little more familiar, Jane’s Addiction takes the Ambassador Stage right after them at 10:20 p.m.

Night owls can catch one of the latest sets of the night at the Downtown Stage where rapper J. Cole will be performing from 11:25 p.m. to 12:55 a.m.

Where to eat

Pop in to Downtown’s MTO Cafe to escape the heat and get a light bite. Their vegan falafel wrap made with chick peas and balsamic tahini is both tasty and filling enough to satisfy vegans and carnivores alike. But, based on how hard you partied Friday night, the hangover burger with cheese, a fried egg and special sauce might be more your speed.

Festivalgoers with a sweet tooth can stop by The Funnel Cake Café by the Main Stage at 7th Street and Stewart Avenue. Flavors include s’mores, banana pudding, and peach cobbler. So grab a couple friends and plan to split the mini trio.

What to drink

The Mint Eastwood is a refreshing frozen drink with both minty and coconut flavors. Or try the Strawberry Blonde, a vodka drink modeled after the massively popular strawberry lemonade from last year.

What to look at

The Crime on Canvas art exhibition will take place at The Western Hotel all weekend. The festival’s first-ever art show will give attendees the opportunity to view and even purchase original works by local and international artists, including famous musicians.

Who to listen to

RuPaul Charles, of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” fame will speak at the Troubadour Stage at 3:00 p.m.

And fans of Las Vegas’ art, culture and entertainment can sit in on a panel of the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s leading critics. Features Editor Anastasia Hendrix, Film/TV critic Christopher Lawrence, Arts and Culture critic Carol Cling, Entertainment critic and Columnist Mike Weatherford and Music critic Jason Bracelin will share thoughts, insights and anecdotes on the arts in Las Vegas. They’ll be speaking at the Ideas Venue at 8th Street and Fremont Street at 2:30 p.m.
