See if you’re eligible for free museum entry

Check your wallet — and then check your schedule.

If you're a Bank of America (or Merrill Lynch) cardholder, the card doubles as a free ticket — Saturday and Sunday — at Discovery Children's Museum, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum and the Springs Preserve.

They're the local culture magnets participating in the bank's "Museums on Us" promotion, which takes place the first full weekend of every month in 2015.

So hurry — you only have this weekend and Dec. 5-6 to take advantage of the program.

Nationwide, "Museums on Us" includes 150 participating institutions (from aquariums to art museums) in 32 states.

To take advantage of the freebie (for cardholders only; guests aren't eligible for free admission), present your credit or debit card and a photo ID for free general admission to Discovery, Springs Preserve or the Natural History Museum.

For more information, visit museums.bankofamerica.com.
