Animated Tyson is back on the case with new ‘Mysteries’ — VIDEO

He's punched out everyone from chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov to Criss Angel. He's ridden to the aid of Pulitzer Prize winner Cormac McCarthy. He's even ended up on the moon.

Now, Mike Tyson is back for a second season of "Scooby-Doo"-style intrigue on the animated "Mike Tyson Mysteries" (12:15 a.m. Sunday, Adult Swim).

As always, he'll be joined by his homeschooled Korean daughter (voiced by Rachel Ramras), the ghost of the Marquess of Queensberry ("Community's" Jim Rash) and a foul-mouthed, hard-drinkin', hooker-lovin' pigeon who used to be a man (Norm Macdonald).

"It's craaazy," Tyson told the Review-Journal last fall before the series premiere. "I love this stuff."

"Mike Tyson Mysteries" is providing a second chance for animated stardom for Tyson, who's called Las Vegas home for the past three decades.

"When you think about it and put it in perspective," Tyson said, "when I was 'Mike Tyson' in the '80s, and I was this heavyweight champ guy — biggest, toughest guy, $20 million fights — comic books wouldn't touch me with a million-foot pole. Any kind of comics or cartoons. And to think I'm doing it at this point in my life is just so refreshing."
