Sheryl Crow to play special First Friday concert at Container Park

Tickets are still available for a special First Friday concert by singer Sheryl Crow at the downtown Container Park on Friday.

This is the first time the Grammy-award-winning singer has performed in downtown Las Vegas. She will be joined by Mississippi country star Charlie Worsham and local singer Sabriel.

Worsham toured with Taylor Swift in 2011 and Sabriel played at the inaugural Life Is Beautiful festival in downtown Las Vegas last year.

First Friday is a free music, food and arts festival held in downtown Las Vegas on the first Friday of every month. While the general event will still be free, the Sheryl Crow concert will be held separately and will require a paid ticket.

Fewer than than 1,000 tickets are being sold. Prices are $39 for general admission and $79 for VIP. You also can pay $250 to join Crow for an “eat and greet,” where you can meet Crow and dine together in a private room.

All event proceeds will go to Feed the Children and Opportunity Village. Doors open at 6 p.m. Friday.

Feed the Children started in 1979 and provides food for children in 23 countries, including the U.S.

Oportunity Village is a Las Vegas-based not-for-profit organization that serves residents with intellectual disabilities.

Tickets can be purchased here.
