New Kids add Las Vegas dates

Relax, New Kids on the Block die-hards, now you don’t have to get your passport renewed after all.

This is because the teen-turned-man pop favorites have added four Vegas dates to their 2014 tour, which was previously confined to Europe.

The performances, which will take place at Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort from July 10 to July 13, are the only North American concerts the group will play this year.

NKOTB’s Vegas stint will consist of more than just shows, as there will be daytime pool parties and late night after-parties hosted by the band.

The group’s Vegas run further solidifies Planet Hollywood as the local go-to venue of teen pop phenoms of the past and present.

Justin Bieber, The Jonas Brothers and Big Time Rush made their Vegas debuts there, Justin Timberlake held the majority of his annual benefit concerts there, the Backstreet Boys are playing Axis on May 30 and 31 and, of course, there’s Britney Spears ongoing residency there.

All those acts were prefaced by NKOTB, however, who will be taking over Planet Hollywood like they first took over the pop charts two-and-a-half decades ago.

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10 a.m. April 4.
