Werdum takes on Nogueira tonight in Brazil

Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight contender Fabricio Werdum seeks his third straight win and revenge for a 2006 defeat when he takes on Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in the main event of UFC on Fuel TV 10 tonight in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Nogueira won a decision over Werdum in a Pride Fighting Championships bout in Japan seven years ago.

Also on the card, light heavyweight Thiago Silva returns from a marijuana suspension to fight powerful striker Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante, a former Strikeforce champion who will make his UFC debut.

The main card airs live on Fuel (Cable 319) at 4 p.m., with the preliminary card streaming live on Facebook at 1.

Also, the Nevada Athletic Commission announced UFC bantamweight Brian Bowles tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone following a loss to George Roop at UFC 160 at the MGM Grand on May 25. The former World Extreme Cagefighting champion will be placed on temporary suspension until he appears before the commission on the matter.
