Festival to celebrate Indian heritage, culture

American Indian heritage and culture will be in the spotlight 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday during the Native American Festival at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

The festival, part of Native American Heritage Month, will feature jewelry, pottery, carvings, children's art activities and dance demonstrations.

Other events presented by the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District will take place throughout the month.
