Casinos offer Mother’s Day giveaways

At 4 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 26, 27 and 28 the Silverton is giving away a Mercedes-Benz C230 sports sedan plus additional chances to win up to $10,000. Players, who must claim their prizes by 7 p.m. the night of the drawing, can earn tickets by using their Silverton Discovery Card at slots, video poker, table games, keno and live poker. New members receive 25 free drawing tickets at sign-up, and all Players Club members stopping by the Players Club receive an additional 10 free tickets on Sundays through Thursdays. The drawing drum will be emptied of all tickets after the May 12th and 19th drawing.

This Sunday, Mother's Day, is a big day for bingo giveaways. At all sessions, Sam's Town is giving away a large floral vase to all players making a minimal buy-in. The Gold Coast and Suncoast are giving away 12-inch porcelain dolls, while at South Point the Mother's Day gift is a Lady Bug pill box. On Mondays in May, all members of The Club at South Point earning 2,000 points between noon and 8 p.m. will receive a free buffet. The points must be earned, redeemed (and the buffet consumed) on the same day.

Station Casinos has introduced a new progressive Jumbo Bingo Jackpot beginning at $100,000 and growing at least $500 each nonwinner day.
