Wynn-Trump battle coming to Spike TV

You could spend the rest of your life scouring Las Vegas and never see Steve Wynn in the same place as tattoo artists, thrift-store junkies and a self-important magician.
Before long, though, they’ll all be sharing a home.
Spike TV.
The cable channel already airs the Vegas-based series “Thrift Hunters” and “Criss Angel BeLIEve,” as well as “Ink Master,” which always features a local contestant or two. Now, it’s planning an event series about the battle between Wynn and Donald Trump over the future of Atlantic City.
Based on Richard D. “Skip” Bronson’s book, “The War At The Shore,” the series will cover the years from 1995-2000, when Wynn tried to get a resort up and running in the New Jersey resort. Bronson was Wynn’s point man on the project.
Kevin Spacey’s Trigger Street Productions is behind “The War At The Shore.” That company’s Dana Brunetti, who has produced best-picture nominees “The Social Network” and “Captain Phillips” and is currently producing “50 Shades of Grey,” will develop the series.
It’s too early for Spike to speculate about who’ll play Wynn and Trump, but that’s what the comments section below is for.
