I Love Burgers gives burger fans a little more to love

The LEV Restaurant Group is spreading a little more burger love around Las Vegas with its latest I Love Burgers restaurant in Town Square.

The restaurant, the second of the same name, opened in November, company spokesman Zach Conine says. While the original location in the Palazzo served as a blueprint for the Town Square restaurant, there are differences between the two. Management wanted to create more of a place where people can go to eat on a regular basis, Conine says.

Instead of a full-service restaurant, I Love Burgers Town Square is fast-casual. Diners order at the counter, and their food is brought to their table when it's ready.

"We knew we were going to expand when we started the concept, but when we found out there was an opportunity to be in Town Square, we were really excited," Conine says. "It helps us to bridge the gap between tourists and locals."

Most diners at the Palazzo location are tourists, while 65 percent of those who visit Town Square, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd. South, are locals.

Families with young children make up a sizable portion of their clientele, so they tried to incorporate family-friendly touches in the new restaurant's design, Conine says. For instance, the walls serve as blackboards that children can draw on with chalk.

There are plans to start a curbside pickup in the future, making it easier for people to swing by after a movie or shopping and take home a fast burger, Conine says. Management also offers what Conine calls "an aggressive happy hour promotion" offering deals such as $7 pitchers of Sam Adams beer. There is a full milkshake bar, serving their specialty shakes, including the blueberry pan shake, which is made with a pancake.

Restaurant hours are from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to whenever on Fridays and Saturdays.

In all, the restaurant, including dining room, patio and bar, seats about 140. Reservations are not required.
