Imagine Dragons made a cameo on ‘The Muppets’

In case you missed it, "The Muppets" made its triumph return to the small screen. That's terrific news for those of us with fond memories of tuning in to the original episodes on Saturday after bath time. (Wait, did we just say that outloud? Eeesh! That probably makes us sound older than Statler and Waldorf!)
So, yeah, Muppets back on television! Whoo hoo! Oh glory day! Out inner ten year old is smiling from ear to ear. If you missed the first episode, hopefully you have Hulu or something, because not only did our furry friends not disappoint, but one of the very first musical guests were none other than local homeboys in Imagine Dragons — due at this weekend's Life Is Beautiful festival — playing "Roots" with the inimitable Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem. Won't spoil it for you, but let's just say Animal is in rare form here, acting like, well, an animal. Heh-heh. Hardy har har.
