‘Mad Man’ star Jon Hamm finishes rehab for alcohol

LOS ANGELES — “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm has completed a 30-day stint in rehab for alcohol abuse, Variety has confirmed.

The news comes just days before the final run of “Mad Men” premieres April 5 on AMC.

Hamm’s camp tells Variety, “With the support of his longtime partner, Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward.”

According to TMZ, which first reported the news, Hamm checked into high-end facility Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Conn., at the end of February.
