Move like Jagger, or maybe just swoon for Maroon 5

When pop rockers Maroon 5 titled their fourth record “Overexposed,” it may have been a case of wishful thinking.

The band’s third album, “Hands All Over,” failed to match the commercial success of its predecessors, and the group’s momentum appeared to be stalled.

It took a rerelease of that disc, which included smash single “Moves Like Jagger,” also featured on “Overexposed,” to jump-start the group’s career.

Now, maroon has become the shade of ubiquity, as “Overexposed” has lived up to its handle with swooning, dance-friendly pop rock barely audible above the sighs of the band’s legions of female admirers.
