Latest DVDs, CDs, books: June 19

A look at some of the DVDs, CDs and books hitting stores this week:

DVDs

"Wanderlust" (R): Instead of being celebrated as another addition to the "Wet Hot American Summer"-"The State" family, this comedy about an unemployed New York couple (Paul Rudd, Jennifer Aniston) who move into a commune is more famous as the movie where Aniston fell for co-star (and "Rock of Ages" screenwriter) Justin Theroux.

Elsewhere, Drew Barrymore and John Krasinski try to save the whales - specifically the ones trapped in the Arctic Circle - in the drama "Big Miracle" (PG), inspired by a real rescue in 1988. A slacker (Jason Segel) searches for the meaning of life in "Jeff, Who Lives at Home" (R), a comedy from mumblecore vets Jay Duplass and Mark Duplass co-starring Ed Helms, Judy Greer and Susan Sarandon. And a 17th birthday party goes off the rails in the teen comedy "Project X" (R).

Topping today's TV transfers: "Louie: Season 2," "Wilfred: The Complete First Season," "Franklin & Bash: The Complete First Season," "Web Therapy - The Complete First Season," "Tyler Perry's House of Payne 9" and "The Sarah Silverman Program: The Complete Series."

Fiona Apple, "The Idler Wheel Is Wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More than Ropes Will Ever Do": Seven years is too long between Fiona Apple records.

Even longer is her new album's title.

And that's what we love about Ms. Apple.

She does her own thing, flaunting her idiosyncrasies like proud battle scars.

You don't have to get it, but you will feel it.
