Music, sports festival returning to skate park

The annual music and extreme sports festival "Extreme Thing" returns to Desert Breeze Skate Park on March 29, with Pennywise, Chiodos, Escape the Fate, Nonpoint, Streetlight Manifesto, Alesana and In This Moment. General admission tickets are $17 in advance, $20 day of show and a ticket with a T-shirt is $27. They go on sale at 10 a.m. today at Ticketmaster outlets.

The Las Vegas Philharmonic performs "Led Zeppelin: A Rock Symphony" at the Planet Hollywood Theatre for the Performing Arts on March 29. Tickets are $25, $45, $65 and VIP tickets are $100 with complimentary CD. They go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Theatre for the Performing Arts box office, 3667 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and Ticketmaster outlets.

The "Bamboozle Roadshow," featuring Saves the Day, Armor for Sleep, Set Your Goals, Metro Station and A Cursive Memory, hits The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel on April 4. Tickets are $16.50 and go on sale at noon Saturday at the Hard Rock box office, 4455 Paradise Road, and Ticketmaster outlets.

Pop punkers Yellowcard play acoustically at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay on April 10, with MXPX, PlayRadioPlay! and Treaty of Paris. General admission tickets are $16 in advance, $18 day of show and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the House of Blues box office, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and Ticketmaster outlets.

Jazz pianist Keiko Matsui performs at Ovation at Green Valley Ranch on April 4. Tickets are $24.95, $32.95 and $37.95 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Green Valley Ranch ticket sales counter, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway.
