Penthouse Pets hosting party at Tao

Things should get pretty hot inside Tao Las Vegas tonight as a pack of Penthouse Pets host the evening's event, kicking off an array of Super Bowl weekend parties in Las Vegas.

Several Pets, including Prinzzess, Bella Starr and Cassia Riley, highlight the group hosting "The Penthouse Club Pre-Game Party" at Tao. Penthouse Pet Jennifer Emerson also will be in attendance.

DJ Reach will provide the music on the turntables. Doors open at 10 p.m.

LAX, Pure host UFC after-fight parties -- Pure Management Group gets into the Ultimate Fighting Championship action Saturday as its two marquee venues host parties following "UFC 81: Breaking Point."

Pure welcomes heavyweight fighter Brock Lesnar as he hosts the evening's festivities inside the Caesars Palace hot spot. Lesnar, the former World Wrestling Entertainment star, will be making his UFC debut in his bout against Frank Mir.

Pure also will host the after-party Saturday for UFC fighter Antonio Nogueira.

Pure's sister property, LAX, will host the after-fight party for UFC heavyweight Tim Sylvia inside the Luxor venue.

Boxers drop major cash at Privé -- Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. never has been shy when it comes to sharing some of his millions in local nightclubs.

On Saturday, he showed up at Privé inside the Planet Hollywood Resort, where he proceeded to purchase three magnums of Perrier-Jouet Rose champagne. Mayweather also "made it rain" at Privé, showering the dance floor crowd with $5,000.

But Mayweather seems to have a challenger in the celebrity champagne wars in fellow boxer Zab Judah, who took bottle purchasing to another level at Privé.

Judah took a pretty good blow to his bank account, buying 50 bottles of Dom Perignon.

Look for these two pals to continue their friendly battle on the nightclub circuit.

Actress Leighton Meester, from the TV show "Gossip Girl," hosted the evening's festivities Jan. 25 at Tao.
