Rapper Rick Ross hosting Mayweather fight after-party

Remember when Floyd Mayweather walked to the ring for his big bout with Miguel Cotto with Justin Bieber by his side?

Well, there will be a slightly more formidable musical tie-in with Mayweather’s fight versus Marcos Maidana on Saturday.

Upon completion of what is sure to be a one-sided blowout, burly, Frigidaire-sized rapper Rick Ross will host an after-party at Hard Rock Live on the Strip.

Still one of the biggest rappers in the game — literally and figuratively — Ross’ presence will at least partially compensate for Mayweather’s association with the dude who sang “Eenie Meenie.”

The party starts at 10 p.m. Tickets are available at www.eventbrite.com or at Hard Rock Live.
