Nightclub employees Wednesday cleaned out a Walmart by buying more than $106,000 worth of toys for a radio station's holiday charity drive.
About 100 employees at Tryst and XS nightclubs at the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore at Wynn Las Vegas arrived in a caravan of 50 cars escorted by Las Vegas police, then delivered the toys in two tractor-trailer rigs.
The donation shattered the workers' donation of $68,000 last year, which was a record for the drive.
The KLUC-FM drive that started last week runs 12 days, with toys, bicycles and gift cards going to HELP of Southern Nevada. The drive is in its 12th year.
