Making your voice heard

Higher taxes, adjustments in retirement rules for state workers, a governor with a veto pen. These are just some of the issues lawmakers face as they try to wrap up the 2009 session. If you have any thoughts on those or other matters and would like to share them with your representatives in Carson City, here’s a contact list for all the Southern Nevada legislators.

If you don’t know which legislators represent your neighborhood, go to the Legislature’s home page at www.leg.state.nv.us. In the upper left hand corner single click on “Senate” to get a pop up that includes the prompt “general information.” Clicking on that will take you to a page that includes a link to “Who’s my Senator? What’s my District?” Once there, simply type in your address and check the map for either the Assembly or Senate.
