A day after announcing the winner of Saturday's fight between Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Brandon Vera would get a title shot, Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White altered his position.
White said Tuesday that whichever of the four light heavyweights in the main event and co-main event - which pits Ryan Bader against Lyoto Machida - on the UFC on Fox 4 card in Los Angeles wins most impressively will secure the opportunity to fight for the belt.
White cited fan reaction to Monday's announcement for the change.
