Two men from the Netherlands were arrested in Nye County after police said they trespassed onto the Nevada National Security Site for a YouTube video.

The Bud Light Area 51 Celebration occurring Sept. 19 at the Derek Stevens-owned Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will now feature Matty Roberts.

Matty Roberts alerted Connie West, owner of the Little A’ Le’ Inn, where Alienstock is taking place, that he was no longer going to be part of the festival just 11 days before it is slated to begin.
“It’s exponentially crazier than it’s ever been, and I have a crazy life,” says Connie West, co-owner of the Little A’Le’Inn.
Anheuser-Busch is producing special edition alien-themed cans of Bud Light tied to “Alienstock,” a three-day event planned for Rachel later this month.
The events are expected to draw up to 15,000 people to Lincoln County per day, plans filed to the county revealed.
Gov. Steve Sisolak said he’s been in contact with state and local agencies, including the Nevada National Guard, in regards to the planned “Storm Area 51” events.
The marquee “Storm Area 51” event, Alienstock, is expected to draw upwards of 10,000 attendees for the multiday gathering in the Nevada desert.
Nye County will make an emergency declaration Thursday ahead of the planned “Storm Area 51” event next month.
Keeping U.S. Highways 93 and 95 are priority for NDOT, as keeping traffic flowing smoothly on those state highways is important.
Tickets for the Storm Area 51 Basecamp Experience, featuring ufologists and other speakers Sept. 20 and 21, are on sale at Ticketmaster.
