LETTER: Going green in Washington, D.C.?

Having made a career in Washington, D.C., as a civilian employee (bureaucrat), I enjoyed reading Sharon Grossman’s Wednesday letter “Green test” about using D.C. as a testing ground for all-renewable energy. But here’s the thing: Washington’s elite working class — read: federal lawmakers and bureaucrats — make their livings by giving advice, not following it themselves.
