Does Wayne Allyn Root realize the Review-Journal is part of the mainstream media?

I always get a kick out of reading Wayne Allyn Root’s columns. It’s like reading Donald Trump’s tweets but with more than 143 characters. But I’m scratching my head over Mr. Root’s Sunday column attacking the mainstream media. I’m not sure if Mr. Root is aware of it, but his current employer, the Review-Journal, is a part of the mainstream media. Part of the conservative side, but still the mainstream media.
So I’m scratching my head wondering what the Review-Journal thinks about one of its columnists accusing the paper of committing fraud and offering a distorted view of reality. Does Mr. Root really think that the Review-Journal is run by liberal Democrats or crony capitalists mired in the D.C. swamp? And does the paper purposely choose headlines to confuse us, distract us and mislead us, as Mr. Root claims?
If Mr. Root’s claims are true, then the RJ should be ashamed of itself. If they are not true, then the RJ should seriously consider not running Mr. Root’s columns in the future.
