LETTER: Panicked Democrats need to wake up

Las Vegas is heating up faster than almost any city in America, second only to Reno.

Protests against U.S. automakers have long been tied to opposition against fascism and authoritarianism.

Let’s bypass Washington’s bureaucratic pork buffet.

We can either support our automakers as they build electric vehicles, or we can watch them wither on the vine around the world.

You’re on a public roadway and have no expectation of privacy.

They may come to regret it.

Your March 19 front page encapsulates the sad state of affairs in this country.

Southern Nevadans have some real “winners” among our elected officials. The City Council in the Badlands case cost us $626 million and Mr. Jones could well be said to singlehandedly have cost us the $80 million.

This will perpetuate the growing economic and educational divide in our country, which will further our demise toward a Third World banana republic of haves and have-nots. I shudder for our nation’s future.

Does Mr. Joecks feel that President Trump did the right thing by not “throwing the book” at those terrorists?
