Fans and players alike were disappointed about how the season ended for the Golden Knights. Bear in mind that they are still a young 4-year-old expansion franchise, the best expansion team in the history of any sport. But in hockey lore, they are the young upstarts and the Montreal Canadians are hockey royalty.
